About the Role

As the Senior Operations Development Manager you’ll report directly to our COO and work cross-functionally with supporting the business unit and Operations Managers in the different areas in setting direction, following up on results and managing change initiatives with impact on the company’s long-term success. This will include:

Operational Efficiency:

• Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity.
• Develop and implement streamlined processes and workflows to optimize daily operations.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success operational improvements

Structured Problem-Solving:

• Finding solutions to open-ended questions by building financial models and present cases for decision making, e.g. opening new production centers, new production capacity etc.

Project Management:

• Leading high-impact, cross-functional and cross-market initiatives, e.g., launching new revenue streams, countries and optimizing production processes

Data-driven analytics & insights:

• Applying data analysis to collect actionable insights and presenting these to senior management

Continuous improvement: 

• Contributing to thought leadership, setting a high bar for excellence, finding opportunities for improving on the status quo and facilitating knowledge-transfer of best practices across regions

We believe that the ideal candidate has:

We’re looking for a structured and analytical problem solver comfortable with qualitative and quantitative methods, a hypothesis-driven approach and steep learning curve. Apart from self-sufficient and goal-oriented, we believe the right candidate has:

• A university degree within engineering, business, finance or equivalent
• Minimum 2 year’s experience from working in a strategy consulting firm
• Experience from leading cross-functional projects with high business impact, ideally in an e-commerce or production environment
• Experienced in stakeholder management; able to communicate to all levels within the organization
• Experience from working independently with data analytics, visualization and financial modeling
• Proficiency in structured problem solving, building business cases and engaging storytelling
• Fluent in English and Swedish

It is very meritorious if you have experience from working in a production role in a scaleup with a complex supply chain and operational processes similar to Carla’s.
