Scrum Master Internship Opportunity at Landell Games! Join our Programming Team!

Are you passionate about project management and want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic gaming startup? Landell Games is looking for a talented Scrum Master intern to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for our programming team. You will also work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily standup meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the programming team.

  • Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimating effort for user stories.

  • Organize and facilitate sprint retrospectives, driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure alignment of priorities and goals with the product roadmap.

  • Monitor and track progress of sprints, removing any obstacles that may hinder the team’s productivity.

  • Support the team in embracing Agile principles and practices, promoting transparency and self-organization.


    Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Enthusiasm for the gaming industry and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

This is an unpaid internship of 6 months with the possibility to have it extended further, and since we are in discussions with major names in the industry we are planning to start our recruiting process this year. You need to be able to commit to working with us for at least 50% (20 hours per week). Start date: 26th June 2023
