With an ambition to grow our product in Scandinavia, we are now looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to play a key role in making this happen!

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Appfarm, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers in the Norwegian and Swedish markets. You will be the first point of contact for many of our potential customers and will be tasked with establishing a rapport with them and identifying their needs. Your goal will be to generate interest in our products and services, and to set up appointments for our sales team to close deals.

Appfarm (appfarm.io) delivers tailored digital services to businesses using in-house developed technology. Our innovative product, Appfarm Create, enables the development of advanced software with tailored functionality without a single line of code, and only with the help of a web browser.

 

What will you do as a Business Development Representative? 🚀

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers in the Norwegian and Swedish markets.

  • Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and social media to introduce Appfarm and its products and services.

  • Qualify leads and set up appointments for the sales team.

  • Use a consultative approach to identify customer needs and pain points.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in our CRM system.

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of leads and opportunities.

  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions as needed.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual lead generation quotas.

What are your strengths? 🤸🏽

  • Fluency in both Norwegian and Swedish.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential customers.

  • Proven track record of success in a BDR or similar role.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
