Overview:

We are currently seeking a CTO for Memmora. Established in March 2022, Memmora is a hybrid tech, SaaS start-up built on the pillars of simplicity, utility, and empathy. With our platform and subscription model, we're introducing new efficiencies to the upkeep of Danish memorial sites. Our platform eliminates the need for long-term upfront payments and replaces analogue processes with a transparent and flexible pricing model. By offering a digital solution, we simplify the often cumbersome process of grave maintenance. Our personalized profiles provide members with regular updates, including photos of their loved one's gravesites.

As the CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical strategy of our company and play a critical role in the growth and success of Memmora. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in software development, experience in leading a technical team, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of Memmora's SaaS platform.

• Work with the team to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Drive the design and implementation of new features and functionality for the platform and future web applications.

• Oversee the testing and debugging of the platform.

• Manage and mentor the future technical team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Collaborate with the other co-founders to set the technical vision and strategy for Memmora.

• Actively participate in reporting meetings and strategy seminars with our investors.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to ensure the Memmora tech remains competitive.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Extensive experience in SaaS platform development, focusing on architecture, design, and deployment.

• Strong technical skills, including expertise in programming languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Material UI, Python, Java, C++, or other relevant languages.

• Evaluate, optimize, and maintain our tech stack (native PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and third-party plugins) to ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and recruit a technical team.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• A passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly platforms and web applications.

• A track record of experience in a leadership role within a technology-driven start-up/scaleup, preferably within the SaaS sector.
