Technical Co-Founder

As a technical co-founder, you will be leading the technology and product part. This includes building the product, making strategic plans for further development and scale, hiring and expanding the tech and product team. We are looking for a person with experience in fullstack development and a good knowledge of data science, AI and machine learning.

In the beginning, you will be building the product yourself in collaboration with the team. As our startup grows and expands, you could choose which path you want to take further on, whether it is a full-stack developer, a tech devops or a leadership role that suits your skills and interests.

This position is part-time and unpaid but we have ambitions to have full-time salary for the team once we are able to close our fundraising round. As a co-founder you will receive equity in the company.


Your responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain our product using lean, testable, and efficient code

  • Refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

  • Create security and data protection settings

  • Write technical documentation

  • Participate in meetings with investors, customers and stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Experience multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

  • Experience multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers and UI/UX design

  • A strong interest in working in a startup

  • Communication, teamwork, problem solving and adaptability


About the team:

You will be working closely with the CEO, Mai Phan, as well as our advisors. We have flexible working hours and a hybrid option which combines working from home and in office. We encourage everyone who is interested to apply regardless of your background, age, gender or functionality.
