The internship

As a Business Intelligence & Data Science Intern, you will analyze, interpret, and present data. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world business setting, gaining experience with data collection, analysis, and visualization. You will also assist in developing and implementing data-driven solutions as well as developing predictive and statistical models to address business challenges.

As an intern at Denominator, you will be an important part of our company. Throughout the internship, you will gain deep insights into DEI and ESG agendas globally while developing your professional and personal skills – and we surely also hope to learn something from you. You will be working in a global environment with mission-driven team members across various departments – and a unique chance to make a mark on the world of DEI.

You are studying for a master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent and is able to do the internship full-time. For the right candidate, we offer one day off weekly e.g., to follow a maximum of 10 ECTS points. If the internship includes writing an assignment or report, flexibility will be provided in the final stage of the internship.


Your day-to-day will involve

  • Assist the BI team in developing predictive and statistical models using Python, Machine Learning, and Power BI

  • Perform statistical analysis on company data and models

  • Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns

  • Develop visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders

  • Learn new techniques and tools in the field of data science


Qualifications – we imagine that you

  • Are passionate about data science and eager to learn

  • Are familiar with Python, Machine Learning, and Power BI

  • Are fluent in English – knowledge of any other languages is an advantage

  • Are interested in DEI/ESG and sustainable investment

  • A plus if you have experience with B2B data and the financial industry

  • Are a natural self-starter and well structured

  • Get energy from getting things done

  • Can challenge the status quo and come up with ideas to improve Denominator
