EFUEL is on a mission to help people consume energy in a more sustainable and efficient way. We’re building energy management networks - a combination of hardware products and software services, starting with Electric Vehicle charging. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Sales Officer to lead our high-performing sales team to new heights! We're seeking a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams.

Your role as Chief Sales Officer
As the leader of our commercial team, including the sales team and customer excellence, you will be responsible for building, leading, coaching and developing the team to ensure they achieve their full potential. 

You'll work closely with our executive team to develop and execute on sales strategies that align with EFUEL’s commercial goals and company vision. One particularly important focus of your role is to enable EFUEL to scale commercially across the Nordics. We're looking for someone to deliver our commercial budget, set the plan for the future and build a sales organization that can support our long-term growth.


The scope of the role:

  • Overarching responsibility for delivering our commercial targets with primary focus on reaching monthly and annual budgeted top line and gross margin targets
  • Implement best-practices to build a high performing commercial team with the right processes in place leveraging tech enabled sales sales operations practices
  • Leading, coaching, developing and bringing energy into the sales team - making sure that everyone is highly motivated and getting the most out of their potential
  • Establishing a data driven, KPI focused way of working - setting the right targets and making sure that we are meeting them
  • Visualizing, communicating and implementing our sales strategy, which spans over the Nordics, different business areas and product categories, including hardware for EV charging, solar and batteries, as well as software services
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, owning the customer journey and optimizing each stage of it, making sure that we increase active customers, increase order frequency and order value, and decrease churn
  • Building up the commercial teams in Finland, Denmark and Norway to the same level as in Sweden, while paving the way for further international expansion in DACH and beyond
  • In collaboration with our Supply Chain department, work with our suppliers to make sure that we continuously grow our hardware product segment with EV charging, solar and batteries and become a category killer
  • Overarching responsibility for all of our customers and being the main point of contact for our largest accounts, including proactive and reactive customer dialogues

  • Experience from the direct or closely affiliated space with already established customer network that you can bring to EFUEL and start penetrating
  • Experience in launching products or services in new markets, preferably in the Nordics
  • Thorough understanding of modern sales processes and tools, including CRM systems and sales automation tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
