EFUEL is on a mission to help people consume energy in a more sustainable and efficient way. We’re building Electric Vehicle charging networks by selling hardware and building services around that hardware. Our goal is to enable our customers to use the resources available in the electricity grid in a way that’s great for the environment, at a lower cost, gets the job done as efficiently as ever, and on top of that, is easy to understand and fun to use. A challenging task, but we’re making a serious effort to solve those challenges better than the competition.
We’re a small company with a very warm, kind, and welcoming culture. Right now we’re growing fast and the coming year will see a lot of interesting and fun changes.
The Role
As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you would be responsible for managing the financial operations of EFUEL. This includes:
Developing and implementing financial strategies and tactics
Performance Measurement
Managing budgets and forecasting
Controlling
Product pricing
Treasury (internal and external stakeholders)
Investment management
Overseeing financial reporting (internal and external)
Risk management
You will also be part of processes concerning administration, HR, logistics and tech.
As CFO you will be part of the EFUEL management team and contribute to financial management as well as business development, playing a critical role in decision making. You will report directly to the CEO and also be of support to the other members of the management team.
The team currently consists of a team lead, three financial assistants and one accountant.
More about you
To be a successful CFO, you should have a strong background in finance and accounting. We also think it’s important that you are used to being in a company in high growth, and with many international communications. We believe you thrive in a fast paced environment, where you can be part of many processes and projects. To have grit, a strategic and problem solving mindset, will be key factors in contributing to our success.
You’re also comfortable being the front figure in formal contexts, and being part of business settlements.
Since you will be the leader of the team it’s important you have experience from leading others, by great communication skills and the ability to get others with you.
We believe you have:
Master’s degree in business
Previous experience as CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance or similar
Experience from geographical expansion, preferably in a public company
Strong stakeholder leadership and management skills, both internally and externally
Experience from currency-related matters and treasury management
Proficiency in English
