Strategy & Operations Analyst (part-time)

Salary Competitive

🥞 About ‘All Gravy’

The next generation of employees are used to apps like Instagram, TikTok and Spotify in their personal life - but when they go to work at a restaurant chain or retail store, they’re met with software created before they were born.

We are modernising the tools for frontline employees and transforming the experience into one that is engaging and motivating; making their lives easier - from getting paid to developing their careers. We’re innovating on the whole employee journey: from being recruited, onboarded, growing skills and connecting with co-workers.

Employers get a swiss-army-software to attract, motivate & retain their employees - rather than having to invest in 5 different pieces of software that are not fit for purpose.

Our product has been live for 2 years; our users absolutely love All Gravy. We have been lucky/skilled enough to work with some of the most exciting brands in the hospitality industry (7-Eleven, OLIOLI, Letz Sushi and many more)!

2022 was a landmark year for us: we raised a large seed round from Europe’s leading investors (Moonfire, Upfin, Founders, Nordic Web Ventures) and Angels (Bradley Horowitz (VP, Product Google), Terese Hougaard (Partner, Atomico), Phil Chambers (CEO, Peakon), Fredrik Hjelm (CEO, Voi), Dan Winn (CTO, Deliveroo)), and are now getting ready to embark on our journey as a global scale-up.

Who are we?

We are passionate, have an ambitious mission, and our users love us! ♥️

And this is just the beginning. The best is yet to come, and we hope to bring you on board to achieve this mission together. We are a fun and hard-working team that is looking for passionate professionals to join our mission. Join us to shape the future for shift & gig workers 🚀

🤩 The role: Strategy & Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Analyst, who is ambitious and ready to take on a high responsibility role in a venture-funded startup.

Previous strategy & operations analyst has gone on to become Operations Lead in the company, and this is very much a role where the more responsibility you take, the more you get.

While this is a student role (part-time), we expect the person taking on the position to be able to take on full responsibility of projects end-to-end. You will have help & mentorship from both the Operations Lead (who will be your direct reporting line) and the CEO.

All Gravy is evolving at a high pace and therefore many new tasks both in terms of scaling the commercial team, and delivering on customers / product creates tasks that require a strong thinker & executor.

Within the next few quarters we will be continuing our scaling into the UK, but also scaling to new markets like Sweden, Norway and Finland, which are all stand-alone projects requiring support.

😎 The job and responsibilities

This role is a broad role supporting the CEO & Operations Lead - Daily activities could include:

Strategic topics:

  • Run analysis related to fundraising (e.g. LTV / CAC calculations, calculating cost of acquiring a customer)
  • Pricing proposals

Commercial:

  • Sizing of market (opportunities)
  • Funnel analysis
  • Nurture campaigns
  • Commission proposals and calculation
  • Creation & refinement of sales assets (sales decks, calculators, online assets, white papers)
  • Competitor analysis

Operations:

  • Developing & implement processes across a range of areas, as needs arise
  • Owning specific strategic or operational projects (e.g. setting up automatic payments from clients in UK - how do we best do it?)
  • Keeping check of investor-conversations
  • Calculating metrics, cash flow and burn rate

Admin:

  • Ad-hoc tasks
  • Managing calendars
  • Managing & optimising external suppliers (office-related)

All Gravy is undergoing high growth hence the job and responsibilities will develop over time, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow.

    Who are you?

You have great energy, a good sense of humour & have a disciplined problem solver mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like to initiate new projects - but also get them over the line. We have a direct feedback culture, and people with a growth mindset tend to do best here.

We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.

    We expect you to:

      • Speak and write Danish & English fluently
      • Take responsibility for projects end-to-end
      • Be structured in your approach to problem solving
      • Like executing on projects and tasks
      • Be able to work approx. 20 hours a week, with flexibility from our side in exam periods
      • Study a relevant 2nd or 3rd years bachelor (or 1st year master's)
      • Have excellent communication skills
      • Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
      • Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there
      • Be able to work at our office in Central Copenhagen (though we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely as well)

We are in the midst of building an awesome company and can't wait to onboard you - therefore we will hire the right candidate as soon as we find him/her.

💡 Even if you do not tick every box on this page, you might be the perfect fit for the job! We treasure our learning culture and encourage all humble people to apply.

    Working at
    All Gravy

All Gravy is empowering shift workers to take control of their finances. We have a belief that creating a direct link between work and pay through real-time salary will fundamentally shift the way we think about work and our motivation for working. We also believe thinking about money is hard, and that there are a lot of things we can do with behavioural design to make it easier. Thus we work in an extremely customer-centric way to create products that are helpful, fun to use but also change the way we think about work and pay. Employers get a more motivated workforce, who are more likely to take shifts and can save their finance / HR teams a lot of time by ensuring their employees always understand which shifts they are getting paid for at which times. We are a venture-backed company, backed by Founders who have built fantastic companies such as Pleo and Kontist.
