As a Legal Counsel you will be a crucial part of a global data-driven company by advising and reducing legal complexity on GDPR and related areas while allowing innovation to happen in respect of compliance. You will build a modern legal department where boring manual tasks are eliminated in the advantage of automated processes giving you the time to deliver valuable insights to stakeholders on complex legal matters. Who are we looking for? 

Responsibilities

• You will be the main person responsible for driving our efforts in relation to GDPR together with stakeholders across Lenus.
• Together with the team you will be responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on legal risk with a “less legal more people” mindset. One example is the upcoming EU regulation laying down harmonized rules on AI.
• Provide advice to various stakeholders within contracts, marketing practices, compliance, consumer legislation and much more depending on Lenus' needs and your interests!
• Together with the team you will be responsible for identifying and implementing the newest legal tech.

Qualifications

• You have either a Cand.merc.(jur.) or Cand.jur. - and have 2+ years of practical experience with GDPR.
• Experience from working within the area of IT law is a plus (IT contracts, digital platforms, IP rights etc.).
• As you will be working closely with commercial teams as well as the product- & tech teams, the ability to communicate complex issues to non-legal stakeholders is important.
• You enjoy having great autonomy and flexibility in your work life where you value the possibility to join a yoga class in the morning or a padel match in the afternoon.
