What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our fantastic team in Copenhagen. The role will focus on designing B2B SaaS products targeting our Partner and Enterprise segments. Learn more about our fantastic Product Design team here.

As a Senior Product Designer at Monta, your human-centered design mindset will be vital in building the best charge point management software in the industry. You will be part of a fun and fast-growing company, collaborating closely with other product designers, engineers, researchers, and product managers to translate user needs and business objectives into great experiences for our users.

This position primarily focuses on our B2B products. You will work with your design peers to lead the design work and partner with the product manager and the rest of the team to build our web apps. These apps are currently used by more than 500 partners, such as PostNord, Vestas, Zaptec, Copenhagen Airport, Rolec, and others. Additionally, thousands of charge point site owners across our 9 markets (and counting) use our apps every single day.

Requirements

• Look at a product holistically, taking into account both business aspects as well as the user experience.
• Are used to working in close strategic partnerships with product managers and engineers.
• Can make fast, qualified decisions and back them up.
• Can take a design from insights, through to prototyping, testing, and validation, all the way to pixel-perfect Figma prototypes ready for developers.
• Are passionate about design systems, have a solid understanding of how to utilize and govern design systems, and are excited to further mature, develop, and evangelize our existing Design System (Electra) (Pass: YouAreCool ).
• Want to play an active role in improving the design profession and our processes.
  
• Have impeccable skills in the visual design craft, including composition, color, typography, iconography, etc.

We're looking for someone who...

• Is proactive and eager to take initiative
• Has experience working with complex SaaS products and designing advanced user flows
• Is curious about every aspect of product development, including user research, collaboration with UX researchers, user testing, and is passionate about solving problems for EV drivers around the world. (pst.. You don’t need to know a single thing about EVs before joining us, there will be plenty of time to learn 😇)
• Stays up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve the design process
• Is excited about collaborating with your peer designers
• Is proficient in design tools such as Figma

We Need You to...

We are looking for someone who ideally has 4+ years of experience in a similar role or working with a similar product. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. We would like to see some previous similar work that you are proud of. Finally, we need you to take a leading role in designing our B2B products.

We'd be extremely excited if you can start as soon as possible, but we respect that the you may need to finish current projects or other obligations before starting.
