The role

As a Spatial Designer student assistant at NORNORM, you will become a vital part of the Design and Range team, supporting them with the design of workspaces taking into consideration the fundamentals of the NORNORM design aesthetic. You will be instrumental in expressing the NORNORM point of view based on Nordic design principles focusing on functionality and simplicity.


Your main responsibilities include:

  • Support the Design and Range team in the creative process
  • Support in the creation of a wide range of workspace layouts for various types of clients
  • Be the brand ambassador, making sure brand guidelines and principles comply


You will also be expected to: 

  • Manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Identify improvements in our ways of working


You bring the following qualifications:

You are willing to work in a startup with a fast-paced environment and use your problem-solving skills when facing challenges. In addition, we value the following qualifications and competencies:

  • A can-do mentality
  • Deep passion for and understanding of interior design
  • You have a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Attention to the finest of details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Persistence and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • High proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Ideally based in Øresunds region or willing to relocate
  • Proficiency in a visualization tool such as Sketch-up or a similar 3D tool
  • Interest in office space design and circular business models
