Neurons brings neuroscience into marketing to offer innovative solutions to our customers, and as the company is on its new stage of exponential growth we are looking for a QA Analyst to join our amazing Engineering team. This is a full-time, unpaid internship and a newly created role at Neurons.
As a QA Analyst intern, you will work closely with our QA engineer, product managers and software engineers to ensure the quality of the greatest customer behavior prediction platform. This is a grand opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about QA processes and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and constantly challenging environment. You will play an important part in the development of our products, ensuring that new features meet our business requirements, and spotting issues before our customers do it.
Our Engineering team works with all of the modern technologies, such as Python, Golang, React, Cypress.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you'll review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will also execute test cases and report defects using our bug-tracking systems. Moreover, you'll:
Identify, document, and track bugs and verify bug fixes
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle
Participate in code reviews, testing, and other quality assurance activities
Continuously improve QA processes and standards
Run exploratory testing to spot potential defects to improve customers' experience
What you will need:
We imagine that you are someone who is actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field. To be successful in this internship, you'll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, you have:
High attention to details
Approximately 6-12 months left of your studies (note that you must be enrolled in a study program to be eligible)
Experience with test case management and bug tracking systems (a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
