As our Head of People & Culture will be busy with another exciting job soon, we are now looking for an experienced HR professional to take over the P&C department, while she is away.

Donkey Republic provides a platform for easy bike-rental across European cities. We offer affordable and sustainable mobility for the masses by partnering with cities to turn bikes into the hero of urban transportation and have a vision of making city life better for everyone with affordable and responsible bike-sharing.

About you

We believe that the key to have success in the role comes down to a couple of characteristics and skills:

Be structured and organised in everything you do

We are currently building up the P&C function, so this role is for someone who really enjoys organising and structuring information, tools, systems and so forth.

Is a people person and can therefore build up trust in a short amount of time

As this is a temporary position, this role is for someone who can quickly adapt to the organisation and build trust across departments and management.

Has good knowledge of common HR & P&C practices

To hit the ground running and easily pick up ongoing projects will be a great advantage. As the Head of P&C is working within a broad scope of both HR and P&C, this role is for someone who enjoys detailed oriented work while not losing sight of the overall direction of the company strategy. This also includes execution of strategic people projects.

  • Own, execute and develop HR and P&C processes from A-Z

  • Engaging internal stakeholders and managers in supporting and delivering on activities across teams in relation to HR and P&C processes

  • Building culture and continuing the efforts to be a people-first company Balancing multiple tasks while ensuring delivery and quality during deadlines


Responsibilities for the role

  • Maintain and develop HR infrastructure processes (contract management, recruitment processes, onboarding, offboarding etc.

  • Support accounting with payroll

  • Own and drive the engagement tool Zoios, analysing people data and giving recommendations to exe. Management team and team managers based on analytics.

  • Business leadership - sparring with leaders on the quarterly appraisal talks

  • Engaged member of the work Environment Committee (miljøorganisation) to with sustainable and balanced company development

  • Contribute to growing collaboration across the entire Donkey Republic team

  • Contribute to the company strategy from an P&C business perspective

  • General office management

Within 1 month

  • Meet your new colleagues and understand who is doing what

  • Get comfortable with the day-to-day operations and processes of Donkey Republic

  • Understand the problems Donkey Republic solves for customers and how we can continue to solve them

  • Use the product as a customer

  • Take over HR & P&C tasks and processes that are already in execution and run interview processes

Within 3 months

  • A clear overview of your collaborators and stakeholders in the organisation Establishing great colleagueship and foundation for collaboration across teams

  • Thoroughly onboarded to HR and P&C processes in Donkey Republic

  • Have gotten a full overview of people operations and have started optimising processes

  • Have a good collaboration with external legal assistance to support EU wide differences in employment law

Within 6 months

  • You are developing and running the people and HR process for smooth collaboration across departments and swift execution in recruitments

  • Assisting the organisation as business partner for HR and people oriented tasks

  • Planning initiatives to act on employee satisfaction survey feedback

  • Have setup solid structures and processes for continuous dialogue and development with city managers
