League Operations Manager
Challengermode is an innovative esports platform taking everything from grassroots organizing to commercial projects to the next level. As a company we are taking on more new and exciting projects and as such, are looking for an League Operations Manager to help us ensure our clients’ satisfaction as we take on new challenges.
The Activations team is a group of highly agile esports fanatics who have been using keyboard and mouse (or optionally a controller) since they were in kindergarten. We are now looking for someone to join them in their journey towards leading successful projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
A normal day in the Activations team can range from answering player questions in the lead up to an event and post-event reporting, to leading the admin for tournaments with thousands of active players. Your responsibilities are all aligned around ensuring the success of a given project from an operational and player experience perspective, making sure that any potential situation is planned and anticipated for as well as being able to adapt to any unforeseen situations that can occur.
You will manage an entire project's regional competitive operations, including planning and execution.
You will actively maintain and upkeep internal reporting and communication inside Challengermode regarding the status of the regional program.
You will build and lead a team of admins to support large scale tournaments with thousands of players.
You will be responsible for making important competitive decisions in the moment that can have significant impact.
You will ensure the experience for all players involved is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
You will be expected to become an expert for all competitive developments in the region for an assigned esports title.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
2+ Years of experience in League Operations or Tournament Administration.
Previous work experience within project or account management.
You have a great sense of digital structuring.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Fluent in Japanese.
Being able to navigate high-pressure projects.
An ability to lead a team.
Having a proactive mindset.
Attentive to details.
You’re fluent in additional regional languages.
A relevant degree in project management.
You have technical skills such as IT ops, hardware knowledge etc.
You have previously worked with FPS titles, like Rainbow 6 Siege or CS:GO.
