Grow new businesses and existing merchants
Based in Europe (Office in Denmark or Netherlands) and reporting to VP Commerce Europe. The Account Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the marketplace partners in Italy and Spain.
You will track the GMV and Performance metrics of the online wine merchants and improve Vivino's marketplace by helping the merchant improve their performance. Driven by data, you will analyze what is happening in your market and use this data to present improvements to the merchants. You will also do project management and data tracking. E.g., help solve any technical issues that may arise, identify opportunities to improve the marketplace for customers and merchants, and manage merchants based on data. In addition to working with merchants, you will collaborate closely with our global team of Marketplace Success Managers, Wine Directors, Local Marketeers, and eCommerce Operations Managers.
This role allows you to develop it on your own. We have created a unique community of wine lovers in Italy and Spain - some of the fastest-growing markets in Europe - with an extensive leads list of merchants keen to work with us.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be to:
Analyze data to understand the root causes of merchants' performance and take action to accelerate their growth.
Identify and qualify leads and onboard them to the platform
Enforce merchant policies and SLAs to ensure the best possible buying behavior for customers
Handle and resolve merchant's requests and concerns
Maintaining and growing the relationship with merchants as the first point of contact.
Act as a liaison between the merchants and our external customer service partner for questions about orders.
Identify opportunities to improve the marketplace for all merchants through scalable solutions.
Work closely with your fellow team members in other markets to improve the processes of the merchants.
Identify and improve customer and merchant experience, working closely with other teams within Vivino.

Adding to the above, we also envision that you have and can demonstrate the following:
Several years of experience with account management or other key account support roles
Understanding of CRM systems like Salesforce
Preferably experience in eCommerce and/or Marketplace
Desire to be part of a journey that changes the way people enjoy wine
Strong analytical skills and thrives in finding opportunities in data
Highly organized and results-oriented
You love the fast-paced environment of a start-up and can prioritize without being overwhelmed
Native speaker of Italian and bonus if high professional level Spanish
