Data Engineer for fast-growing SaaS platform

About the role

In this role, your primary task will be to design and construct streamlined data pipelines to improve the data-based development experience of our product in close collaboration with application developers, data scientists/analysts, and stakeholders/clients. You will ensure that the data pipelines meet everyone's needs.

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering value, desire to have more autonomy and leave a bigger impact.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Design and build data models to accommodate for OLAP

• Setup data integrity checks

• Automate these processes and pipelines

• Implement modern tooling to ease maintainability and scalability

• Write documentation including architectural drawings/schematics

  
  

About you

To be an ideal candidate, we expect you to be ambitious, curious, and ready for new challenges. You should be driven by the challenge of working with large data sets and a willingness to adapt to new methodologies and technologies. You should be able to troubleshoot complex issues and come up with creative solutions to problems. You should be able to work both independently and collaborate in a team when required.

Key qualifications for this role include:

• Strong expertise with SQL

• Preference for Python based tooling, open to working withJavaScript tooling

• Preferably experience working with forecasting solutions

• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL database paradigms

• Excellent knowledge of English
