We are looking for a Finland based Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen our infra team of two. Together with the team you will improve, support, secure and operate our development and production environments.

Your main responsibilities (with support of the team):

• Manage a broad hybrid infrastructure, consisting of cloud as well as bare metal setups

• Oversee the health of the system and automate monitoring processes - make sure not a single event in the system goes unnoticed
• Update, configure and manage a wide range of software - from neural network powered engines to big data processing clusters
• Make developers’ lives easier by controlling the CI/CD for more than 60 services of different size and purpose maintaining the deployment pipelines
• Design, implement and enforce best practices infrastructure-wise, keeping high load and security in mind - load balancing, api gateways, web application firewalls etc.
• Pinpoint and bring developer attention to the things above code-wise

Who are we looking for?

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in positions such as DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience in administration of linux-based environments, especially Debian-based distros
• You are familiar with containerization approaches and engines, particularly Docker and plain container
• DBA-like and administrator-like experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, Cassandra) and/or noSQL (MongoDB) databases is a big plus
• Experience with Kubernetes clusters
  • helm release management and operators is be a plus
  • able to set up and manage self-managed K8s cluster

• Ability to investigate incidents and find solutions for effective recovery, troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of systems engineering principles
• Good understanding of programming practices
• At least some proficiency in Python/Golang/Javascript is a plus
• Good communication skills
  • Clear technical writing is a must in English
  • Finnish is plus, but not required
