As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be putting your mechanical (design, CAD, simulate, prototype) skills to use by developing the sub-assemblies and integrated systems of our C&I battery storage solutions. You will focus on reliability and production optimization. You will be working with our engineering team to deliver safe, cutting edge and manufacturable products.

What will you be doing?

• Designing and Building the sub-assemblies and systems for Evyon’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

• Plan and implement hardware integration between all the components of the BESS

• Ensuring high reliability and safety of the systems that can be produced smoothly and efficiently

• Work diligently with the engineering and commercial team to understand improvement points, develop improved product specifications, and lead the implementation efforts

What are the ideal qualifications?

• BS/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design of fixtures, products and other including electrical parts

• Advanced knowledge of MCAD (2D and 3D)

• Practical experience with mechanical (static, structural, modal) and thermal (heat transfer) simulation

• Electrical knowledge and skillset are highly valued (50V-1000V)

• Past Experience with certification processes is highly valued (IEC61010, UL, CE marking)

• Design for Manufacturing is highly valued (along with Design for Reliability)

• Fluency in English is a must
