Shape is an award-winning native app development studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are known for building high-quality mobile apps that tackle real problems and push businesses forward.

As our business is growing and we further define specialist roles, we are expanding our Administration team to strengthen our internal structure.

We are therefore looking for a Bookkeeper to ensure timely and accurate financial records are maintained, and existing processes develop in-line with our business growth.

We also hope that you want to share an interest in the work we do, and may be eager to follow the newest technology trends with the rest of us.

SOME OF THE THINGS WE LOOK FOR

• Relevant education in the area of business, finance, accounting.

• Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software (e-conomic and Xero).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

• Previous bookkeeping experience, and ability to work under your own initiative.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Produce the Trial Balance, Monthly Management Accounts, and Bank Reconciliations.

• File monthly, quarterly or semi-annually VAT. 

• Day to day credit accounting. 

• Provide reliable monthly figures for cash-flow forecasting. 

• Liaise with our reporting accountants at year end. 

• Effective communication with a range of internal and external parties. 

WORKING HOURS AND SPECIFICATIONS

⏱ Full-time, 37.5 hours a week.

📍 This is a Copenhagen-based, on-site position with flexible remote work possibilities.

💬 English proficiency is a must. Great if you could communicate in and understand Danish, too!
