The job & what you’d be working on

We are now recruiting in Tampere for the first time ever, and we have ambitious business goals in the area (we always do). We are looking for a Data Architect who has a passion for using data to create better business results. You'll have an important role in helping our customers grow their businesses, by using your skills as a data professional.

In practice, your role will focus on helping our clients to understand how they can make business with data or how they can improve their business with data. You will be in the forefront, advising our clients about the data infrastructure choices, and you will design the data architecture (roadmap and components) for them. Moreover, you will work with hands-on implementation of the data architecture with other data professionals.

You will work in close cooperation with other digital sales specialists who work on the other end of the pipeline, using the data that you provide to make sales happen.

We are looking for a senior professional who is also interested in supporting our sales team with our sales offering in data projects. In practice, this could mean working with RFPs, designing data architectures for proposals and working together with our account management.

We can see a clear rise in the demand for the ability to monetize data and improve sales with data which also translates into exciting growth opportunities for you. Requirements

Expertise that will help you thrive in this position

• Strong business mindset and willingness to create a measurable business impact with data
• Good communication skills, people skills, and ability to advise clients
• Interest to support our sales team with framing our sales offering
• Hands on experience in designing and working with data platforms, in cloud environment (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
• In-depth experience of the following skills, and interest in other related topics: data modeling, data integration, data governance, GDPR, data / information security
• Experience as a professional software developer
• Knowledge of different ways of storing and accessing data (such as relational databases, NoSQL, data warehousing, data lakes)
• Professional proficiency in English

Additional nice-to-haves

• Experience with data mining, or machine learning
• Knowledge of data visualisation tooling (e.g. Tableau or similar)
• Knowledge of web-based software systems (microservice systems, REST APIs etc.)
• Experience within a digital sales context and with digital marketing and sales solutions like the data structures of the most commonly used marketing and ecommerce platforms

Compensation 72 000 - 90 000 €/year depending on your professional skillset and the level of seniority.
