Are you a language enthusiast who thrives in the role of coaching others? Do you want to challenge your educational and leadership skills? We’re seeking your talents for an exciting opportunity as a Mandarin Chinese Tutor at Swedish for Professionals!

Since 2014, we have provided a wide range of companies and industries in Sweden with Swedish language coaches to educate their international talents in the Swedish language. Right now we are strengthening the education team with a language coach in Mandarin, and are looking for you who want to use and develop your skills in pedagogy, rhetoric and leadership.

About the role

As a Mandarin coach at Swedish for Professionals, you get to independently train prominent employees at one of Sweden's leading companies. You will be coaching a group of total beginners in Mandarin. You will have great freedom to creatively design and tailor the classes according to the needs of the participants.

• You’ll build meaningful, lasting relationships with your participants through your tutoring sessions.
• You’ll develop your communication, time management, and teaching skills by adapting your approach to each participant and identifying new ways to inspire and support them as they develop in their learning.
• You'll make a true difference for the participants as you help build their confidence with your inspiring and creative approach.

Requirements for the position

• Excellent knowledge of Mandarin; mother tongue or equivalent.

• Excellent knowledge of either or both Swedish or English; mother tongue or equivalent.

• Experience in education or tutoring is meritable.

• Permanent residence in Sweden

The courses will largely be held remotely. For this role, we are looking for someone who is available from week 4 in January 2023 for approximately 20 hours /week for 6 months.
