Carla has in record time built and scaled Europe's EV-only, online car retailer. Based on our traction and recent funding, we are now looking for a Head of SEO for the Swedish market. Your mission will be to increase both the quality and quantity of our online traffic in one of the fastest growing startups in Scandinavia- ever.

Carla is growing at the speed of light and we are looking for a Head of SEO to join Carla and our ongoing market expansion

YOUR MISSION AT CARLA

In this role, you will be reporting directly to our new CMO and be a part of the marketing management team at Carla. Your mission will be to ensure increased organic traffic, better SEO rankings and ultimately sales. You will work closely across functions like Product, Purchasing and Content teams. Also, you will be ultimately responsible for planning, creating/executing on and optimizing content strategy and optimizing content. You will also be the overall responsible for improving technical SEO and working on Carla’s off page strategy.

The key KPIs you will be measured on is Carla's organic traffic, SEO rankings and sales volume connected to your work.

Example areas of responsibility will include:

• Set, implement and manage the long-term strategic direction for SEO and content for Carla
• Production; operational responsible for producing text and setting up landing pags
• Ensure increased organic traffic and SEO ranking for Carla
• Working with the developers to drive and help implement the technical SEO roadmap
• Analyzing traffic and consumer behavior in Google Analytics
• Responsible for Carla’s Swedish copywriting and tone of voice
• Responsible for Carla's content strategy and execution with the goal to maximize organic traffic and sales
• Routinely analyzing and monitoring site performance, recommending changes and best practices to the dev team
• Staying up-to-date with the latest search trends and best practices in SEO
• Responsible for Carla's content strategy and execution with the goal to maximize organic traffic and sales

We believe that the ideal candidate has:

• 5 + years of experience of the full SEO stack (strategy, production, analysis, etc.
• Proven track record of qualitative SEO work with a direct impact on organic traffic, leads and sales
• Strong understanding of both technical SEO, website architecture and content optimization
• Super user in Google Analytics
• Journalist, web editor or writer with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging texts and content for digital channels driving organic growth as well as sales
• Experience working with CMS and uploading content
• Native Swedish speaker, fluency in English
