As a Financial Controller in Evyon you will work closely with the CFO to manage the end-to-end economic and accounting activities of the company. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities as we rapidly grow and expand our footprint and activities across Europe.

The position reports to the CFO.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing accounting and finance operations, including reporting of results
• Coordinating and preparing budgets and financial forecasts
• Developing and implementing strategies for optimizing financial implications of cross-border transaction and goods flows
• Managing and complying with Norwegian and several EU-member state reporting requirements and tax filings
• Supporting liquidity management by preparing cash flow and other financial analyses and by developing efficient internal processes
• Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of control procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Understanding the financial performance of the business, and using it to bring insight and opportunities to the business
• Managing the interface towards external accountants and auditors

What are the ideal qualifications?

• Experience in an international environment and familiarity with cross-border considerations (especially currency and VAT)
• A degree in Accounting, Business or other Finance related subject
• 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, preferably from auditing
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
• Self-motivated, with drive to succeed and demonstrate initiative
• Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail
• Fluent in English
