We are looking for someone who will help us in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of 24Slides with the purpose of improving the economic and financial performance of the company. The role should ensure control, accuracy, and predictability in revenue and costs. 24Slides exist to empower people in emerging markets and this role is really about building a solid foundation to enable that.

You will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. You should not only understand current accounting practices and trends, but also have an understanding of a global setup with multiple legal entities and internal transfers. You will be reporting directly to our CFO, and you will be comfortable in a role that demands clear communication and presentation skills as well as an urge to continuously challenge and improve the status quo.

About the role:

The short description

You will become the Financial Business Controller of a scale-up that is growing fast and immediately become an integrated part of our global Finance Team distributed in our five legal entities across the globe.

The longer description

We currently have five 24Slides legal entities; Denmark, Indonesia, Peru, Ukraine and USA. We have local accounting/finance resources, but all are working very differently. Short term, your job would be to support in building a global streamlined approach in how we work and operate finance at 24Slides, including implementation of standardized monthly reporting and follow up. Your role would need to ensure daily cooperation across all our legal entities and supporting accuracy improvements related to budgeting and forecasting. You will be deeply involved in both Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR so that we can make informed financial decisions and hereby develop the company's financial performance in a positive direction. Longer term, the role will co-own process optimization with focus on automation, continuous improvements and elimination of non-value adding tasks.

Our headquarters are in Copenhagen, Denmark, our development team is in Kiev, Ukraine, our design teams are based in Malang, Indonesia and Lima, Peru and we just opened a sales office in Florida, USA. Ideally (not necessarily a requirement) you’ll be working in our Copenhagen office, located in Nordhavn as part of a tightly-knit team of 14. We’ve recently moved into our new office which we have renovated into an awesome space where we can work and chill. The cool waters of Nordhavn are a few minutes away for a lunchtime summer swim (or you can join the real Vikings in our office for their daily winter dip). :)

What you will be doing:

  • Own the execution of month end closing and reporting for the Danish entity (incl. year end)

  • Prepare monthly mgmt. reports and analysis 

  • Support local legal entities in budgeting and forecasting numbers (follow up/tracking)

  • Act as a business partner to local legal entities, the department heads in the Danish office and the CFO (business cases and follow-up/tracking)

  • Oversee all transactions going in/out of the company (e.g. payroll and invoices in/out)

  • Optimization of existing finance related processes (drive simplification of reports, financial models and automation)

  • Implement process improvements and standardization across all offices and departments 

  • Financial support and tracking of projects cost and benefits


  • You’re fluent in English. We’re an international company and we operate in English. 

  • You have a proven track record across different financial disciplines/projects and accounting for 2-5 years.

  • You have experience acting as a business partner with our main business functions (HR, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.)

  • Great cultural awareness and understanding.

  • You adapt well and are eager to maintain a great company culture.

As we are very flexible in the way we work, it's not necessarily a requirement that you’ll be working out of our office in Copenhagen, however if you are working remotely, monthly travel activity to Copenhagen will be required.
