 What will I be doing?

  • Supporting and coaching our employees and team leaders with all people matters throughout the whole employee life cycle
  • Managing IQM’s duties as an employer and ensuring that our HR practices are compliant with local laws and regulations
  • Executing and developing our people practices in collaboration with management, colleagues from the People and Culture team, and the whole IQM team
  • Contributing to the development of our values and culture, making IQM the best work environment imaginable
  • Cooperation with external partners, including but not limited to occupational health care, insurance companies, and different other service providers


What skills do I need?

  • Experience in leading HR/People Development efforts preferably in a scale-up environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal direction and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Experience in coaching diverse people with various backgrounds e.g production, science, and academia
  • Previous experience from people processes and practices related to a high-technology production environment
  • Intercultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Excellent communication in English and Finnish


Nice to have skills: 

  • Experience helping in the growth and scaling of a 200+ employee company in developing processes, ways of working, policies, etc.
  • Team building experience
  • Understanding of rewarding models (e.g blue collar, production)

IQM is a Pan-European leader in quantum computers. IQM provides on-site quantum computing for research labs and supercomputing data centers and offers full access to its hardware.
