🔥 What’s the role about

We are looking to hire a full-time Commercial Ops Analyst to optimize the company-wide use of data and information to improve decision-making and performance across Rokoko.

The role is part of the Finance & Commercial Ops Team and reports directly to the COO/CFO. The Commercial Ops Analyst will take responsibility for building and maintaining our data infrastructure and connecting our commercial systems to make the best use of our customer data across the company. The role will be part of our central data engine room and participate in projects and operational work in close collaboration with commercial departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

In addition to managing our data, the role also contains three BI parts to support our teams in fast decision-making:

First, breaking down key business data i.e. gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from many sources e.g. revenue, sales, cost, customer engagement, or product usage metrics. This may also involve programming tools and creating data models to help visualize or monitor data. Second, interpreting data and identifying potential for improvements in practices for example analyzing market trends or user behavior to understand how to adapt our products. Third, sharing findings including anything from visualizing data in graphs, dashboards, and presentations, to putting reports together and presenting to other teams or management.


✅ What you will be doing

  • Build and maintain our data infrastructure and connect our systems to optimize the use of customer data;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to understand data requirements, define KPIs, get the most out of our datasets and constantly improve reporting capabilities;
  • Collect and analyze data from our commercial, product, and backend systems to provide insights into performance including leading and lagging indicators;
  • Help implement tools and processes that focus on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity across the organization;
  • Support strategic decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining easily interpretable data visualizations, dashboards, and internal and external reports;
  • Monitor performance and develop forecasts to identify improvement opportunities;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and a business definitions glossary used across the organization.

🕵️ We’re keen to meet someone with...

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, management, or a related field;
  • Min. 3 years relevant experience in a similar position in a SaaS company with demonstrated professional capabilities;
  • Experience with data warehousing platforms, data models, and APIs as well as experience with "data activation" through ELT/ETL tools;
  • Strong expertise in MS Excel plus preferably knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar data visualization tools;
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into data requirements;
  • Ability to develop relevant hypotheses and workflows for testing these;
  • Ability to develop easily interpretable and actionable charts, reports, and visualizations;
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
