The opportunity

We are looking for a part time Finance Student Assistant with a flair for numbers and a keen eye for detail to support and strengthen our finance department. You’ll join an international company full of inspiring, friendly, and social people, and collaborate with colleagues across various departments. 

You’ll be helping with daily finance operations and supporting Sarah Shaw, our Accountant. You’ll be in good company working alongside Sarah, and will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting. 

Working in Corpay One’s finance department means working with our own industry leading software, which you’ll master in no time. You may also be able to help direct product development based on your own experience of the software.

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious student assistant, studying in the area of Finance or Economics. You are a strong communicator, detail-oriented and organised. You are comfortable learning new things, proactive and have strong analytical skills. 

What are you going to do?

• General bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Accounts receivable

• Supporting month end, quarter end and year end closing

• Ad hoc reporting and tasks

Additionally, you are:

• A strong user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Have knowledge of the principles of accounting.

• Fluent in English, both in writing and in everyday speech.
