Blidz is a social shopping app inspired by Pinduoduo. Haven't heard about Pinduoduo? In just five years, Pinduoduo has become China’s #2 shopping app valued at +$100 billion on US Nasdaq.

We have figured out how to apply this model to Western markets by combining fun game mechanics with easy-to-use shopping features. Think: CostCo meets Disneyland!

We just raised millions from some of the world’s top-tier venture capital investors and angels (for example General Catalyst and David Helgason - founder of Unity). This allows us to offer solid compensation packages including equity. 

Now, we are looking for a Social Media and Communications Manager to join Blidz’s growing team. You will be working with a senior team of analytical thinkers from both business/marketing and engineering sides. We despise hierarchies so we don't waste time on activities such as reporting or admin. Instead, we focus on solving problems together and individually.

What we require from you

• Ability to produce and manage content and communication on all our social media and marketing channels

• Ability to manage user community and feedback on social media

• Excellent written and spoken communication in English

• Can do attitude with no fear of getting hands dirty and taking initiative

• Quick learner that is ready to wear multiple hats

• Manage your own tasks, without someone constantly telling you what to do

Other experience that we'd find useful:

• Previous exposure to eCommerce

• Ability to manage personal or business social media channels (e.g. Facebook/Instagram/TikTok)

• Basic knowledge of economics, finance and business

• Exposures in multinational setup

• Previous experience with multinational organizations

• Exposures to IT relevant sectors
