Our Head of Marketing is going on maternity leave, and we are looking for a person who can take our marketing department in Copenhagen to new heights during her absence. 

About the job

As our acting Head of Marketing, you will report directly to the Managing Director and represent Marketing on the Management Team. You are motivated by the challenge of scaling up and taking the business to the next level by ensuring that tamigo is top of mind for potential customers across Europe. You aim high in your ambition for what Marketing can provide to our organisation and our customers during this vital period of growth. You combine creative thinking with broad experience in getting through to large B2B target groups.

    As acting Head of Marketing, you will lead an international and specialised marketing team of five people working on generating and capturing demand. As a leader, you understand the importance of teamwork and take pride in the joint successes you share with the team. You have in-depth insight into performance marketing and how to actively target stakeholders with specific, business-oriented messages. You will work across departments to ensure we reach our target audience and build a lead pipeline in our core markets throughout Europe. You will be in charge of the marketing budget and set the tone for all marketing activities in accordance with the overall strategy, with the ultimate goal of helping our potential customers in understanding what tamigo can offer them and why we are a good fit for them.

    The primary goal of our Marketing department is to generate demand among relevant customer groups and to ensure that they see tamigo as a relevant, trustworthy and reliable partner for their Workforce Management needs. You will be responsible for setting and achieving ambitious targets for lead generation and for ensuring a clear brand perception across all external communication.

    What you will do:

    • Implement an ambitious marketing strategy that generates relevant leads for our sales department, with a special focus on key European markets
    • Ensure that the team works closely with sales on constantly adjusting marketing initiatives to maximise revenue impact
    • Ensure that the team works closely with product on clearly communicating the business value of product features to the market
    • Enable the team to tell a captivating and relevant story about the value that tamigo brings to its customers
    • Optimise our online presence and lead generation across our target markets with consistent brand identity
    • Ensure compelling and relevant brand recognition, portraying the benefits of tamigo to customers
    • Proactively measure and report our marketing performance according to budget and targets
    • Collaborate actively with external partners and relevant industry stakeholders
    • Actively support the sales process by providing stakeholder-specific marketing material
    • Ensure the scalability of our marketing efforts by supplying brand guidelines, content templates, and access to localise marketing campaigns to our franchisees

    • You are an experienced people manager with a genuine interest in people development and you take pride in your team's success and growth
    • You combine ambition and creative thinking with business acumen
    • You care deeply about communication and have highly developed communication capabilities
    • You are inquisitive about our product, what our customers value, and what motivates their workflows, and you help your team in gaining a deeper knowledge of our customers
    • You can show past success in demand generation and demand capturing and have a thorough understanding of performance marketing
    • You have at least 5 years of experience in marketing for a B2B audience –preferably for a SaaS company, and at least 2 years of experience in leading an international team of marketeers
    • Master’s degree in marketing, communication, or similar background
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English
