About Pitchr 

Pitchr is looking for a co-founding CTO to accelerate our mission of building a more equitable and efficient venture capital industry. Pitchr is the next-gen layer of automation for forward-thinking investors. Pitchr helps investors filter and qualify inbound investment opportunities, and enables them to share deals with other investors in and out of the Pitchr network. This saves the investors time in the deal qualification and review process, opens up the wider investor community, and helps startups get exposure to a larger and more relevant investor network. Team 💪

Frederik

Frederik is the founder of Pitchr, and has been behind the original ideation and validation process behind the concept. After initially interviewing 130+ VCs and startup founders on the tedious process of fundraising and managing deal flow, he had the epiphany for how to solve costly problems for both sides of the table with one concept - Pitchr. Frederik has also been a key team member in Antler’s Copenhagen office, helping other founders ideate and venture-build, prepare for fundraising, and has participated in numerous investment committees.

Fun fact: Frederik speaks intermediate-level Mandarin and has studied at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Vincent 

Vincent is a serial entrepreneur with two successful exits in the IT service industry. He has a business background from Copenhagen Business School and holds a MSc in Business Administration and E-business. He has an extensive network of investors and startups as well as deep industry knowledge. Vincent has also worked for Accelerace, a leading accelerator/VC fund in the Nordics thus knowing the industry's dynamics.

In his spare time, Vincent loves to do all kinds of sports like kitesurfing, tennis, golf, soccer, wave surfing, paddle, and more. Vincent also loves to be with friends and family, cook, travel, play chess and read investment and startup books. 

Fun fact: Vincent has lived as a digital nomad for a while and climbed Kilimanjaro

Who we are looking for and what we have to offer ✌️

In the perfect world, you are a great full-stack developer with experience in AI/ML, proficient in UX, and a large plus is having knowledge of the startup/venture capital industry. Even better if you already have start-up experience and have led a tech team. Nonetheless, growth and learning are the names of the game when it comes to building a startup, so we are open to less experience, if you have a strong growth mindset.

You should get excited about the prospect of being part of the founding team and all the messy hands-on work that comes from that, as well as the long-term perspective of you setting the strategy and being responsible for a great in-house, hybrid or remote engineering team.

We are based in Copenhagen but you can be based anywhere as long as you can travel to Copenhagen once in and while. Though, we prefer if we could work together physically most of the time, for synergistic purposes (at least in the early stages)


Skills and experience

  • Full-stack developer. You should be proficient in both back-and-front-end development. 

  • Have experience with AI and Machine learning 

  • You can work full-time.

  • You are a strategic thinker who thinks long-term. Pitchr has a horizon of 5-10 years.

  • You are a good recruiter or would like to become one.

  • You are or want to be a great manager and are interested in becoming great at building and leading a tech team.

  • You are a good listener and good at giving feedback.

  • You focus on the problem and user and are open to pivoting if needed. 

  • Startup experience is helpful but side projects or anything else you have been passionate about also work.

 

What we’re offering 🚀

We have been working on Pitchr since the beginning of 2022 and made good progress. We are working full time and we expect you to first work with us on a small project to find out if we work well together. We expect to raise funding around Q1 of 2023.

As a co-founder, you will get a significant part of the equity. We are in this for the long run and we are just getting started. You will play a critical role, so you should see yourself as a co-founder of Pitchr and be excited about the journey of bridging the gap between startups and investors.


Our Process

We are looking for a partner to work with for many years to come, so we want to make sure that we are a good fit for you and vice versa. This is what you can expect our process to look like.

  1. An introductory call with Vincent and Frederik to get to meet each other and talk about our vision, your motivation to join this startup, and why you will be a good fit for the role

  2. If we get along and want to move forward we ask you to complete our cofounder questionnaire and share our answers as well.

  3. We agree on a small project to work together on. This is where we get to validate your proficiency in the building process. We have an external technical advisor to help us with reviewing your work.

  4. We discuss the project and decide if we should work together and make our collaboration permanent.
