The Partnership team in Contractbook is currently looking for a Channel Development Manager, to help us land new partners and open new channels in our ecosystem.
As a Channel Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying which partners to approach, you will be owning all initial dialogue with new partners, and make sure they are excited and ready to become a partner of Contractbook, and you will be responsible for working closely with our growth team, to make sure new partners receive the love they need!
This role requires you to leverage both exploratory skills and systemic organized thinking. You will be responsible for establishing good relationships and working closely with multiple parts of the Contractbook organization to succeed!
In this role, you will:
identify and reach out to new potential partners, based on our Ideal Partner Profile
engage with new partners, to scope out the potential of the partnership, how we may collaborate, and present what we offer in Contractbook
build relationships with partners, and make sure they feel comfortable as they are taken through the Contractbook partnerships journey
sign partnership agreements with new partners
prepare new partners to be handed over to the Partnerships Growth Team
We are looking for someone who:
are able to grasp complicated concepts and technologies, and explain them in a way that anyone can understand
are inventive and resourceful, you’ll be unafraid to try new methods and approaches
are adept in developing and communicating processes and strategies for others to follow
In regards to working with our partners, you should be thinking in a scalable fashion. It’s fine you can manage a handful of partners at a time, but can you handle 50? In this regard, it is, of course, important that you are very structured. Moreover we need for you to:
focus on relationships and be naturally inquisitive and empathetic; you’ll want to understand the challenges and problems partners and clients face
have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in engaging with stakeholders at any level of seniority, and fearlessness of rejection
be honest, motivated, and credible in a consultative manner
Finally, we expect that you:
are educated to a degree level in business and/or technology
have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in business functions such as sales, business development, or growth
have sales-experience from the SaaS industry
are fluent in English - other languages are a plus!
