Who are we?

We are on an amazing growth journey and need you on our team to have the overall responsibility of keeping record of all accounts and preparing reports for our Danish and international companies.

You will be a part of our group-wide and international Finance & HR team consisting of 13 colleagues, who make a virtue out of supporting the whole business, and who go out of their way to have fun together at work.


What will you do?

As our Financial Accountant you will undertake all aspects in the field of accounting, reporting and optimising internal financial processes. We are present with our various entities on an international level, you will therefore secure that our day-to-day financial operations run smoothly globally.


More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Financial accounting

  • General ledger reconciliation and monthly closing of accounts

  • VAT and intercompany reconciliations and reporting

  • Solve complex accounting matters across the Group

  • Support in payroll related activities

  • Preparation of accounts for month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting and audit activities

  • Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Comply with IFRS

  • Assist our Senior Controllers with ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business decision


Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong practical and theoretical financial foundation, and take pride in your work, delivering high quality and accurate data. As a person, you work in a detail-oriented and structured manner, take ownership of your tasks and prefer to stay busy with a lot of tasks and challenges.


You also have:

  • A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing

  • Around 3 years experiences from a similar role or within auditing - preferably in an international company

  • Experience using accounting systems (preferably Business Central/Navision)

  • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations (experience with IFRS)

  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures

  • A high proficiency in Excel and databases

  • Experience with processing and booking payroll

  • Experience working with SaaS companies is considered an advantage

  • Experience from working with international subsidiaries is considered an advantage

  • Great English skills are required, and German language skills would be considered a big advantage. Preferably, you have been working with the German market or are fluent in the German language.
