Folk Kombucha is a start-up kombucha microbrewery located centrally in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District. We are seeking two sales representatives to join our passionate, small team, that is getting the first line of production ready to launch by the end of the year. This is why we need you.
We are searching for two skilled and passionate crew members to form the core of our sale team. We offer a demanding position, that requires structure, problem-solving, self-initiative and strong sales knowledge. The two candidates will be developing the entirety of the sales efforts needed, leading the opening of the brewery to success, and continuing to build and carry out all related sales operations. Together you will be in charge of shaping the sales strategy we take on, and have major influence on the company’s first steps.
Essential duties & responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategy. Locating relevant agents, distributors and retails customers, focusing initially on Denmark, with later export strategy
Negotiating agreements and terms with new partners
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with current buyers and expand business to pursue and nurture non-buyer contacts, to deliver strategies to drive growth
Well-structured template for potential and existing customer subjects
Work closely with wholesaler and local field sales personnel to increase Folk Kombucha’s visibility, implement, manage & track execution, and evaluate results of pricing, distribution and space initiatives
Communicate Folk Kombucha’s values to increase customer loyalty, product and brand awareness by chain, wholesaler, etc.
Create sales materials as needed to facilitate Folk Kombucha values and brand sales
Plan and execute Folk Kombucha promotions, samplings, and possible sponsorship's with key brand partners and influencers that align with overall Folk Kombucha brand strategy
Identify brand building opportunities in addition to volume-driving opportunities
Building the organization and systems needed to deliver on targets and report progress
Review and communicate updates on key initiatives, activities that are working and not working, sales data, wins and losses, deliver financial overviews
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned upon agreement
Knowledge, skills & abilities
A strong passion for kombucha and knowledge of the market, as well as wholesaler operations and distribution
Constantly challenge the status quo and are able to motivate yourself and the team and continually grow business and generate success
A relevant background in sales
Strong sales skills and intuition. You have the mindset to set targets and deliver on them, building something you are proud of
Set on finding the ins and out of the beverage trade and retails sales
Ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
Resilient and optimistic, able to react quickly to unplanned circumstances
Strong problem-solving capabilities, finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are a good verbal and written communicator who will accurately and passionately share our message with others
Can work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
Want to work in a start-up and small team, and have the readiness for what it requires from you in an entrepreneurial culture of ‘do-what-it-takes’ mentality
Familiarity with spreadsheet and database software
Familiarity with SAP Business One is a plus, as this is the programme we will use
Danish speaking candidates are a plus
Looking to commit to a long term position, in an independent, in charge position
