We're growing fast and looking for a new colleague to join as a Danish-speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR), to drive the growth of our business and product.

You’ll join our Nordic sales team. Here you will be responsible for identifying and approaching new potential customers and determining their relevancy. The goal is that you book them in for a meeting with one of our Account Executives (AE).

You can expect to work with the following:

  • Identify and contact relevant prospects through phone calls and email
  • Arrange meetings with prospects
  • Overall, work as a team to reach sales targets
  • Participate in events like trade fairs or expos
  • At times help to build the SDR team by onboarding new team members and participating in mock calls

Your individual targets are built around meetings booked and daily activities (calls, talk time etc.), while still ensuring that great relationships with potential clients are being built.

What else?

Don’t worry, we understand that it can take some time to get fully up to speed in a new role. Here’s a little more detail on what you can expect.

Your first month... what’s it all about?

  • It’s about being a Plandayer. We have monthly onboarding days where the newest group of employees are introduced to our leaders and teams, get familiar with the practical stuff and learn about our values.
  • It’s about personal connections. Get to know the local and global sales teams, your manager and other close colleagues – like the Sales Excellence team who will help you be.. well, excellent! Then there’s our AEs, Marketing teams and Customer Success.
  • It’s about getting the basics down. You’ll learn what daily life as an SDR is like – from prospecting to booking meetings and getting to know our product inside and out. We have a great sales onboarding program and methodology to help you get there.

And the next six months?

  • It’s about giving it a go. There’s always more to learn, but you’re diving in and getting to know some potential customers. Check out Hannah in London, an MVP in under one year.
  • It’s about collaboration. You’ll join in team sparring sessions where you’ll give and get feedback on pitching as well as have structured one-to-ones with your manager. This helps the whole team succeed.
  • It’s about finding your way. Practicing your pitch never gets old and you’re bringing in 10-15 qualified meetings per month. Some of these will be closed by our Account Executives.

After that?

In addition to growing in your role as SDR, maybe you’ll eventually be interested in a little bit more responsibility. What can we say, we like promoting internally 💁‍♀️. Check out Anthon, Anna, Megan or Karl for some inspiration.

Requirements

We’re looking for colleagues with strong communication skills and a proactive approach – you'll be reaching out to and speaking with a lot of people in this role after all.

  • Professional fluency in both Danish and English
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a high activity level
  • Ability to quickly understand customer needs
  • A few months experience in a sales or customer faced role, especially in a SaaS company, is ideal.
