We're looking for an intern to further progress the endeavour.
We provide a B2C and B2B marketplace platform (SaaS) in the automobile industry, focusing on hybrid- and electric cars. You don't have to be knowledgeable in the auto industry but good at the tech part, an avid learner and curious for answers and solutions.
As one of our next steps, we are looking to strengthen our front-end as we have 3 segments - B2C, B2B, B2G. This is what the candidate will work on:
Look into what has been done so far within our B2B, B2G segments.
Look at what our UX/UI and IT teams have focused on.
Discuss with the team what needs to be done for the short- versus long term. Avoid tech debt.
Develop or strengthen the front-end particularly for B2B.
We expect you to bring technical knowledge and possible experience to the team. Our lead developer will not have bandwidth to teach you so you will have to some extent be independent.
We expect you to be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a knack for visual design and utility, somewhat having business acumen is a plus but not a must for the time being.
We also expect you to be comfortable when there is no map or path to walk on and you're the one, with the guidance of the team, who has to lay it out. Don't panic, we are sure you will do fine.
Review work done so far.
Front-end development activities.
Avoid tech debt.
Support the development of client-side for B2C, B2B or B2G.
Further develop the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
Strengthen and manage a well-functioning application.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
Create security and data protection settings.
Build features and applications for a mobile responsive design.
Familiarity with common stacks
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Experienced in coding
Knowledge of multiple front-end/back-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Python)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Great attention to detail
An analytical mind
Good problem solving skills
