Do you want to help us expand our platform to Norway by writing, editing and managing content for our new Norwegian site? Then you might be our new Norwegian communications officer! We need someone who is able to plan, edit and produce new content – you don’t need to be a legal expert, but you do have to be fluent in written Norwegian.


Who are we?

Legal Desk is a Danish Legaltech startup that provides automated online legal services for both private and corporate customers. We have 135.000 users and approximately 300.000 visits on Legaldesk.dk each month, which is why we are very dedicated to providing our users with the legal knowledge and help they need.


Who are you?

This is where you come in. We are expanding our platform to Norway, which means we will have to produce new content for customers speaking a different language than we are used to.

Therefore we are looking for a Norwegian speaking communications officer, who can help us plan, edit and produce new content for our new Norwegian platform. Content is key in our marketing approach, and our goal is to always be thought leaders within any given legal area.


What you could be doing during a normal work day:

  • Creating content for our Norwegian site

  • Helping our law students in writing content

  • Editing and proofreading content

  • Helping create the product forms that our users fill out

  • Finding new keywords to fill out content gaps and SEO optimization 

  • Creating google ads copy and setting up campaigns

  • Various ad hoc tasks regarding communication and marketing

  • Testing the new website for bugs and functionality

You will be part of a young, ambitious and continuously growing team of 42 passionate people (and one equally ambitious office dog), who are all driven by our mutual desire to expand and improve our platform. We move quickly from idea to execution and everybody contributes with their professional insight and ideas.

We have a very informal tone at the office and a team-based approach to problem-solving. This is also why we prioritize social events like team dinners, Friday beers and annuals trips to warmer places.

We offer a full-time position starting as soon as possible - however, we are happy to wait for the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary package that is agreed with the individual candidate. 


Your qualifications

We imagine that you have an education within the field of communication, marketing or something third that we haven’t thought about. The most important factor is your ability to communicate law in a way that makes sense to non-lawyers.

 

Need-to-have qualifications:

  • Relevant education within the field of communications, marketing or something similar

  • Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian

  • The ability to communicate complicated material in an easy-to-understand manner

  • Detail oriented and thorough

  • Proactive and don’t mind asking questions.


Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Some understanding of written and spoken Danish.

About Legal Desk

Legal Desk is the leading provider of automated online legal services in Denmark for both private and business customers. Our vision is to give a valuable alternative to the traditional lawyer, so more people and businesses can get access to legal assistance of high quality. Our team currently consists of 29 full-time employees, 13 students, and our office dog, Sigurd.

Swedish, Norwegian, Romanian and Macedonian are spoken around the office - but primarily Danish and English. We know that diversity is a strength and that a good workplace is a versatile workplace. We love our social butterflies and wall flowers.
