We are looking for an energetic, structured, and proactive People & Culture Associate who loves to get things done and finds joy in bringing people together.
As the People and Culture Associate, you will ensure a smooth-running organisation in regards to HR and administration. You will support Managers in their task to manage their employees across the People and Culture agenda, and to drive good manager behaviour - ensuring a good employee experience and compliance to local employee legislation. In this role, you will be the trusted local HR Business Partner to the MD.
Responsibilities
Support the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit, in collaboration with local and global HR, to support managers. Including, but not limited to:
Job adverts & recruitment coordination
Performance management
Development & training
Onboarding & new employee orientation
Offboarding of employees & compliance to exit requirements
Supporting grievances that are handled through our external legal advisor
Compile and maintain employee records
Create HR reports as needed
Assist in payroll preparation and support resolution of any payroll errors through training managers and supporting right behaviours in the organisation.
Assist with HR-related inquiries and requests from organisation.
Be a culture ambassador and organize company activities that support strengthening of the culture and values behaviours within the organisation
A range of administrative tasks for the management team across different departments
Is the business partner to MD with ad-hoc tasks informing regularly of HR status
Skills & Experience
Experience as an HR Assistant or other relevant human resources/administrative position is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
Knowledge of Human Resources Management and Norwegian labour laws
Computer literacy and willingness to learn to use new software. A good command of MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
Great communication skills - Fluent in English and Norwegian
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactivity and resourcefulness
High degree of integrity & respect the importance of confidentiality
