At Sonar the Business Development Representative (BDR) will create interest in Sonar and guide prospects to demo. Specifically, you’ll blend web prospecting with email and phone. You handle lead qualification and help convert leads to clients.

The BRD role is an entry-level commercial position, yet it’s the most critical role to Sonar’s success and we take hiring and training in this role very seriously. As a fast-growing technology company, there’s amble opportunity to grow and advance to quota-bearing sales roles and you’ll be surrounded by tenured sales professionals supporting your growth.

Your responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients through both phone calls, emails, and social media at high volume with an eye toward exceeding expectations

• Look for new potential client accounts and make the first contact with those accounts to create interest

• Qualify leads generated by marketing which includes content and demo requests

• Schedule demos of Sonar’s Insights platform for qualified prospects

• Maintain a feedback loop to your sales colleagues and marketing

  
  

What you need to bring

We are looking for a person with great energy and drive who is motivated to be part of a growth journey with an ambitious and enthusiastic team.

• Motivation for and preferably experience in outreach to customers, both on phone, email and LinkedIn InMails

• Strong communication skills over both phone and email

• Fluency in Swedish and English

  
  

You will stand out if you 

• Have experience from a larger SaaS company and know best practices for building and scaling new business

• Have a great interest and/or understanding of software, customer insights or UX research.
