Hi! We’re EsterCare - a digital femtech startup with a mission to improve women’s health. We’re looking for a kind, passionate and talented developer that cares about making the world a better place!

Our goal is to innovate and digitise female healthcare, help women understand their body and get better specialised care. We’re building a digital platform to do that and since the release a few months ago, we have helped hundreds of women through qualified gynaecological health care.

We’re a small team, but are now expanding and looking for a javascript developer to join our agile product development team.

About you

• You like an orderly and structured workplace with clear guiding processes.

• You are technically curious and like to learn new things, be it a new programming framework or personal hobby. You like order and structure, and people sometimes describe you as a little “nerdy”.

• You are good at understanding the user’s perspective and always end up caring a lot about the work you do and how it affects others.

• You either have a few years of experience in software development, or an education and a talent for code and are looking for a place where you can learn and grow quickly and both have a lot of freedom and responsibility.

• You have experience either with backend, frontend or both. The important thing is you like to learn and are curious about exploring your true full stack developer potential.

About the job

• Multiplatform product - you will be part of a small but efficient product team handling a mobile patient app experience, video meeting platform and participate in creating a new public web.

• Modern full stack development - work in a structured setting with a modern stack, starting with what you know best and gradually learning and working your way into other parts of the application ecosystem.

• Quality focus - we like to deliver with excellence, and you will be expected to take part in our processes of ensuring that - including code reviews, automated tests, prototyping and peer feature testing.

We work in a modern single-language stack. Our app, backend, web, even our infrastructure-as-code server setup is all in TypeScript.

• App: React-Native, Expo EAS, Redux-Toolkit, Jest

• Backend: Node.js, Express, Jest, Docker, Postgres, AWS

• Web: Next.js, Jest, Redux-Toolkit, Contentful

Any experience with parts of our stack is meriting.

English is a requirement, Swedish is meriting. We’re not offering relocation aid or fully remote positions at this time.
