An opportunity for you to drive our marketing efforts and curate creative content
The AAARRR framework has no secret for you and you are an expert at building a repeatable and scalable retention engine to deliver significant growth while having an excellent understanding of the levers of awareness, acquisition, activation, and referral. As our Marketing Manager, Scandinavia, your primary responsibilities will be to care for our customer base by creating and delivering engaging campaigns on our app and web platform, planning and executing the activations calendar (email, push) for the Danish and Swedish markets.
Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing all your actions, communicating the results, and working with a cross-functional team to deliver a strategic project across Europe. As a part of this, you will possess deep knowledge of Vivino, our product-market fit, customer journeys, and target segments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Understanding your customers inside-out and planning all initiatives based on that knowledge.
Planning and executing campaigns on the Vivino app and web platform and through our owned channels (Push, Emails)
Planning and executing daily, weekly activations (CRM, Push) for our customer base (from content to product planning)
Campaign and project management: managing the campaign and project critical path, communicating with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring all is executed on agreed deadlines.
Working closely with the Scandinavia CRM manager to optimize, deliver, and improve our automation emails and our manual emails, as well as our segmentation based on your country's knowledge
Content and copywriting management:
You understand that great visuals and copy are essential to delivering engagement amongst our users and driving GMV
Managing the local freelance copywriters, guiding them for best-in-class sales copy for our owned channels
Respect Vivino's tone of voice and brand image and apply it in your markets
Analyzing data (range analysis, customer journey analysis, campaign & activation analysis), applying your learnings to plan campaigns and activations for your market successfully, and communicating the results to the relevant stakeholders (country team and European commerce and marketing team)
Drive GMV and Monthly Active Users by activating our Buyer Base

5+ years of experience in E-commerce / Digital Marketing / Start-up Experience
Preferably a Master’s degree in a relevant education
Experience with Marketing and creative thinking, focus on CRM and Campaign planning
Fluency in Danish
Fluency in Swedish (not mandatory, but a major plus)
Wine knowledge, WSET 2-3 degree (not required, but a major plus)
Working at Vivino
You will be part of the European Commerce Team. Your core team will be the European Marketing Team, consisting of 9 employees, focusing on activating the customer base and animating the Vivino app and web across 12 European countries. You will report directly to the Head of EU Marketing based in Copenhagen.
