Assignment description
Our client has embarked on a brownfield project to go from the current platform SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
The project focus is to move all as-is processes from the current to the future platform: re-design was needed to ensure all business processes, are secured in the S/4HANA landscape as well as the design of already known areas with a known impact such as material ledger and asset accounting.
The overall journey entitles conversion, validation, technical aspects, integration to VIM, roles and authorizations, review and update of regression test packages, and training and upskilling of both IT users and business users.
We are looking for a candidate to take on the role of a regression test lead and be responsible for regression test management. The candidate should assure that the current regression test package in ECC is adapted and updated to fit the future S/4HANA landscape.
The candidate should be able to:
Plan, drive and monitor the testing activities
Create the regression test plan, prioritize, track test progress and report status
Obtain approvals from solution- and business responsible
Review and update existing cases to fit S/4HANA
Write new test cases and scenarios
Execute and document regression tests
