Nordic Strong ApS is a Copenhagen-based fitness company. The Nordic Strong fitness concept is inspired by the active outdoor, Nordic lifestyle, with the concept centered around the Nordic Trainer, a multi-functional training machine (formerly known as the ThoraxTrainer). Since Nordic Strong acquired 10-year-old company ThoraxTrainer in 2020, the company has digitalized and modernized the Nordic Trainer and offers today one of the most modern and most effective full-body home trainers. One of the new initiatives includes the newly launched app, the Nordic Strong App, which connects to the Nordic Trainer and offers an increasingly wide range of online workouts. The trainer is sold both B2B and through e-commerce globally, presently with the main focus on Northern Europe. Nordic Strong ApS owns all global rights to the Nordic Trainer.
Since buying the Nordic Trainer in 2020, Nordic Strong has invested significantly in the branding of the Nordic Strong fitness concept, including in its presence on various social media. The next step is the launch of an 800 m2 boutique fitness and flagship store in Q3/22 located in Copenhagen city. Going forward Nordic Strong will continue its expansion of sales of the Nordic Trainer both B2B and online. The flagship store will be a proof of business for national expansion and to build a franchise or partnership case for international expansion.
The company is family-owned and well-funded and will not need funding from any outside parties.
The growth plans now call for further scaling of the team and we are therefore looking for an entrepreneurial COO/CFO. Ideally, you have 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking.
Your responsibilities will be:
Manage production orders and logistics vis-a-vis our manufacturers.
Due diligence, negotiations, and legal contracts with manufacturers and partnerships.
Update and execute on all financials; budgeting and liquidity as well as tenders and pricing.
Liaison to our external accountant and responsible for the internal Monthly reporting
Work closely with the CEO to help build the team and execute Nordic Strong’s sales strategy, both for B2B and e-commerce
Work on formalizing a franchise or partnership concept for international expansion.
Ideally you have 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking.
Experience from other start-ups is a plus but not a requirement.
Passionate about sports and fitness.
A master’s degree in business.
You are confident with managing diverse people and have great project-leading skills.
Strong proficiency within financial models and reporting.
Hands-on job approach
Experience with consumer goods supply chains is a plus but not a requirement.
