On our platform they can create invoices, subscriptions and integrate their e-commerce platform through our platform API’s. We let them manage their expenses via our web-app or mobile app, and even manage their payroll via our deep integration with Salary. More than 40.000 companies are registered and growing every day.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a senior and energetic engineer, who wants to help us simplify our architecture using event based communication. You want to be part of an awesome and experienced team of developers, and you appreciate an open and social team.

We build testable, performant, and maintainable backend services with PHP Laravel and Node.js and do our best to rock a React based frontend. Everything is running on AWS where we use services such as ECS, EventBridge, Lambda. The infrastructure is managed using Terraform and AWS SAM.

You’ll need a passion for software craftsmanship and product understanding too.

Who you are

A senior developer with 3-5 years of experience. We work with end-to-end responsibility, meaning you will own the services you create, all the way from infrastructure to APIs. You will need to have hands-on experience with AWS.

• Driven: You are self motivated and driven to improve your coding and team skills

• Responsible: We give a lot of responsibility to our team members, and therefore you like to take responsibility for what you are doing. Ask all the questions, but the task is yours.

• Tech stack: Our future architecture will consist of services based on domain-driven design. We’re using PHP and Node.js for the backend services, and our data store is usually MySql or DynamoDB depending on the use case. We have a serverless-first mindset to minimize the effort needed for maintenance. Our frontend is written in React, with everything Typescript.

What you'll do

• Solve very real problems for very real customers.

• Create new or extend existing API endpoints to support new product capabilities

• Manage existing infrastructure using Terraform.

• Take part in our architecture simplification project

• Collaborate with frontend developers on a full-stack team to develop new features and products

• Help lead the way from synchronous architecture to asynchronous. So you gotta dream about events :-)
