Our merchants range from entrepreneur-led small businesses to global retail brands. The Merchant Experience team is responsible for helping merchants succeed and grow on Rentle by offering an excellent product and service experience and managing merchant relationships in a data-driven way.
ROLE
As a Merchant Experience Associate, you work closely with Rentle’s merchants to help them succeed and grow. Rentle is growing rapidly, as an early member of the Merchant Experience team, you play a key role in scaling our entire merchant-facing operations.
You solve problems with merchants by listening deeply, actively teaching, and exploring growth opportunities with them.
You connect merchants with potential new features and solutions to ensure they get the most out of the Rentle Platform.
You represent the voice of the merchants internally and share merchant insights across the organization.
You continuously seek out ways to improve merchant growth, satisfaction, and internal ways of working.
RESPONSIBILITES
Ensure merchants have a quick response time by staying on top of your assigned tickets.
Understand the Rentle platform in depth in order to deliver excellent support for merchants.
Analyze business performance and product use of key accounts, define and implement improvement actions.
Collect and synthesize product insights to feed into product roadmaps.
Standardize and develop processes, tools and systems to enable the Merchant Experience team to scale manyfold over the coming 12 months.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record of being incredibly resourceful and finding solutions even when there is no clear path.
Possessing a high level of understanding, patience, and empathy. Able to navigate more difficult conversations/interactions with professionalism.
Willingness to learn about entrepreneurship, care deeply about supporting entrepreneurs, and enjoy having genuine human conversations.
Excellent English writing, and communication skills.
Good MS Excel skills and ability to rapidly learn new business software tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in entrepreneurship or exposure to operating a business
Experience in or exposure to circular business models
Customer service/success experience.
Strong writing and communication skills in an additional European language
