As a Business Development Manager, your main task is to help us accelerate our growth in the UK (at least for a start, possibly other markets in the future). You’ll do this by using your experience to develop scalable and repeatable sales processes together with our UK sales team. This includes a lot of activities in the form of engagement with prospective clients by creating efficient sequences with Hubspot (our CRM).
You have ownership of your own sales pipeline and results, and you'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new business to closing deals with new clients. How will the day of a Business Development Manager look?
Your day will consist of searching for and qualifying leads (psst... every brick-and-mortar business has a Google Business -profile), and contacting them through different channels (phone calls still being the most effective channel). After that, you'll listen to the client's needs and problems, and if they fit our Ideal Customer Profile you'll confidently present how our solutions can help them. When the deal is closed, the client will be transferred to our Customer Success, which handles our existing clients.
A Business Development Manager’s day in short:
Prospecting new potential clients
Lots of activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn connections…) through effective sales sequences (target: 500+ activities / week)
Booking meetings with different stakeholders (the target is 5 new meetings / week)
Conducting sales calls/meetings (right now mostly over video calls, but face-to-face as well in some cases)
Negotiating mutually beneficial contracts
Following up on hot cases
Closing deals
Brainstorming and sharing best practices with the team
And of course, celebrating wins with the team (and our Head of Celebrations - The Gong)
Most importantly, you are a hungry and proactive professional, who is looking to accelerate your international B2B sales career
Solid experience (1+ years) within B2B sales (preferably with SaaS), with proven track record of hitting your targets (either closed business, or booked meetings)
General understanding of how businesses use different marketing channels to achieve their business goals
A university degree in the bag (preferably business-related)
Fluent verbal and written English
You're a metric & result-driven team player with a strong track record of attaining your goals
You have an epic drive to develop yourself and have an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent listening skills
Relentless proactiveness and strong self-leadership
Any experience within marketing and the Google ecosystem will also help you along with the way a great deal.

Performance based salary: Base + commission & bonuses, based on your experience
