Founded in February 2021 by seven ex-Airbnb colleagues, Landfolk is an online marketplace for summer houses and one of Denmark's most ambitious startups. Based in Aarhus, our mission is to help people get out of town. Closer to nature and each other. We handpick premium summer houses with focus on aesthetics, quality, scenic locations and personality and put a lot of effort into building a committed and inspiring community of proud hosts and summer house enthusiasts.
As we grow our team, we are looking for someone who will launch and lead our supply expansion efforts in Northern Germany. If you love summer house life, even better.
Reach out to our very first German summer house owners and onboard them by tuning into their interests, concerns and questions while conveying Landfolk values and conditions
Utilize your local knowledge of Northern Germany to ensure an optimal GTM strategy and adjust our existing onboarding processes to cater to German culture and legislation
Experiment with different lead generation tactics to identify large volumes of on-brand summer houses in specific geographies, e.g. Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Niedersachsen
Recruit, hire and train a local supply team within the first 6 months to scale supply acquisition through customer relationship management
Ensure documentation of all new supply experiments, projects, tests and optimizations
Explore German business development opportunities such as sponsorships, partnerships, co-promotions and PR opportunities
You will have an open invitation to spend time at our Aarhus office while also receiving continuous support from multiple team members working with supply acquisition in a Danish context. As a representative of Landfolk, you will also gain a deep understanding of our history, brand, value proposition and culture. You will report to our Head of Supply & Community, Cathrine K. Reimann, who will also spend time locally with you.
3+ years of experience in account management, sales and/or new markets
Experience with GTM strategies and working independently
Experience working in a B2C context and understanding the balance between supply and demand on a curated marketplace
Understand that community is an important differentiator and you should feel that it is hugely rewarding to work with
Native German language skills and deep understanding of German culture and traditions, as you will be building relationships with German summer house owners
Speed, resourcefulness, leadership and a go-getter attitude. You'll have your fingerprints all over the operations for our German market activities and will play a direct role in the launch success
Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure solution
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with summer house owners, able to lead a team and manage employees
Valid driver's license

We’re looking for the right person to join our team as soon as possible and preferably no later than August. The position is full-time and you will work remotely (meaning you’re always welcome but not required to work from the Aarhus office) and ideally you reside in Hamburg, Kiel or surrounding areas.
