IQM is seeking an intern for our Espoo office to assist our Legal team with project work.

The ideal candidate will currently be pursuing a legal degree from an accredited university and preferably have some background in technology.

In this role, you’ll get to: 

• Work independently and shadow in-house legal practice for a fast-paced and global company  
• Have the opportunity to work closely with Legal team members on various assignments and attend team meetings 
• Support cross-functional business partners as needed by understanding company objectives and completing assignments 
• Work on a variety of tasks, which might include topics like: Updating databases, document management, reviewing and revising contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, and other general matters.

We are looking for candidates who: 

• Are currently enrolled in an educational program pursuing a legal profession and are in the first or second year of their studies. 
• Are self-starters and successful in independently working on various assignments 
• Have excellent research and writing skills 
• Have good skills in using MS Office programs 
• Are detail-oriented, with superior organizational skills, and are eager to learn quickly 
• Demonstrate the ability to drive projects and take the initiative, while also enjoying collaborating with others
• Possess strong communication skills with cross-cultural sensitivity and intellect.
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Finnish and German is considered an advantage.
  
  
  The position is full-time (37,5h/weekly) with a salary corresponding to the recommendations of the Association of Finnish Lawyers (EUR 2080-2710/mo). The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
