Your role:

You will be an important member of our core development team helping us continue creating a world class customer data platform, marketing and customer experience tool for our clients. We work in a squad / agile environment, giving maximum freedom for our squads and individuals to decide what makes sense to invest their time and effort into within the larger scope of the company's product strategy.

As a full-stack developer we are looking for you to take part in decision making on squad work prioritisation, delivering first class technical solutions to make our customers’ lives easier and helping your colleagues in our low threshold “there are no silly questions” work culture.

Your work at Custobar will be quite varied and could e.g. include building data integrations to external systems, taking care of the delivery of larger product features, taking care of the platform via fixing bugs and so on.

Key requirements to succeed in this role:

• At least 3 years of professional Python experience

• Real world understanding of MVC paradigm and containerised services

• Good understanding of HTML, SCSS, Vue.js / Vuex / Vue Router, JavaScript (ES6)

• Familiarity with test driven development

• A curious mindset: there are no stupid questions!

• Willingness to learn and a go-getter attitude

  
  

We consider as an advantage if you have experience on:

• Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse and/or Redis as products / platforms

• Experience with Python and  distributed environments

• Experience in data security related issues

• Experience in Google cloud

• Experience in data engineering and analytics

Our main office is located in Helsinki, where we meet approximately once a month. Aside from those more compulsory office days, it is really up to you whether you choose to work in the office or remotely. Should you like to work in an office environment we do also have an “office crew” of people who prefer the office to home office, so should you prefer the office you would not be alone! The role is a permanent full time role.
