Mission

It is our mission to build the best wireless screen sharing and digital signage solution for businesses and schools, and you will have a big impact on making it possible.

You will join the Cloud team and be part of the product responsible for monitoring and controlling our Airtame devices through a web application. As a backend engineer tech lead for the cloud team, you will develop APIs supporting the front end of the application, manage our databases and ensure reliable high-performance communication with our Airtame devices.

You will be responsible for helping decompose technical tasks, delegate the work to the members of the team, lead the architectural decisions and overall enforce great engineering practices.

Accountabilities

• Contribute to the implementation of the new business model logic.

• Understand the entire backend codebase, contribute by making several enhancements and bug fixes. Provide a list of recommendations for improving our backend system.

• Participate in the development of an ecosystem of apps that can integrate into the Airtame device.

• Contribute to the improvement of the process and the quality of delivering the cloud product.

• Collaborate improving security and data protection.

• Design new features end-to-end, from ideation to technical architecture diagrams, to coding, peer review to production launch and error monitoring.

Technical competencies

• 8+ years of engineering experience with a backend development

• In-depth understanding of the web development process

• Experience developing REST APIs

• Experience with SQL databases and No-SQL databases, having a good understanding of the performance implications.

• Experience on building scalable web-applications that serve a high volume of clients

Bonus points

• Hands-on experience with Golang

• Experience with a tech lead position

• Experience with AWS cloud provider

• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
